Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 2026 • Your videos never leave your device.
0 Server Uploads
Videos are never transmitted across the network to our servers or third parties.
In-Memory Sandbox
FFmpeg WebAssembly runs inside your browser sandbox and cleans up upon tab close.
No Tracking Cookies
Zero tracking pixels, zero analytics profiling, and zero persistent user identifiers.
1. Fundamental Principle: Local Processing
ComprimirVideo was engineered specifically to solve the data leakage inherent in conventional cloud-based video compression services. Traditional converters require you to transmit sensitive personal or business videos over the Internet to remote processing queues.
By utilizing modern WebAssembly (WASM) technology, all transcoding algorithms, frame downsampling, and audio encoding happen exclusively on your CPU and browser execution threads. At no point does raw video or audio data pass through our web servers.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Video Content: We do not receive, store, or view your videos, frames, or audio streams.
- Metadata & EXIF: Location coordinates, creation dates, camera models, and filenames remain on your device.
- User Identification: We do not require registration, accounts, emails, or phone numbers.
- Advertising IDs: We do not sell data to data brokers or cross-site tracking networks.
3. Local Storage Usage
We may store non-sensitive UI state in your browser's local storage, such as your selected language preference (e.g. English, Portuguese, Spanish). You can clear this anytime through your browser settings without affecting functionality.
4. Third-Party CDNs & Static Resources
To deliver high-speed web assets globally, we load:
- Web fonts via Google Fonts (Inter & JetBrains Mono) with privacy headers.
- Pre-compiled open-source FFmpeg WebAssembly core binaries served over encrypted HTTPS (UNPKG / local static bundle).
5. GDPR and CCPA Compliance
Because we do not store, ingest, or process personal data on remote servers, your statutory rights under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)—including the right of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability—are guaranteed by design.
6. Questions & Contact
